PT MRT Jakarta Forms a Subsidiary to Develop TOD Area

PT MRT Jakarta has received approval from the Jakarta Provincial Government to form a new subsidiary that will develop a transit oriented zone (TOD).

According to William Sabandar, President Director of PT MRT Jakarta, the process was in the final stage and it could be introduced to the public.
"It is called PT Integrasi Transit Jakarta, which aims to execute TOD coordination and development activities," he expressed, on the sidelines of Virtual Journalist Forum, Thursday (7/2).
MRT Prepares Special Prizes for Lucky Passenger on Jakarta's AnniversaryHe explained that the city government had approved three regions to be handled by MRT Jakarta subsidiaries namely, Blok M or ASEAN Station, Fatmawati Station and Lebak Bulus Station.
"Blok M ASEAN is officially as TOD and has been officially managed by PT MRT Jakarta based on Gubernatorial Regulation number 55/2020 and also Fatmawati Station in Gubernatorial Regulation number 56/2020. Blok M is a green creative hub as a green area and Fatmawati area because of its height so the concept is a dynamic upper room or vertically constructed," he explained.
As for Lebak Bulus area, it is set in Gubernatorial Regulation number 57/2020. Those three areas would firstly managed as they were predicted to continue to grow thus they would receive separate revenue from PT MRT Jakarta for the medium term.
He went on to say that the next target was Dukuh Atas and Senayan. But they were still awaiting approval.
"Apart from that, we'll focus on the three TODs where their regulation have been issued," he closed.
